#ThankYouMiami for Killer Views, Delicious Food and Great Company - Atrio at Conrad Miami

Memorable dining experiences rely on three main ingredients. Killer views are a good place to start because they provide a background suitable for making magical memories. You also need delicious food - after all, we're talking about dining experiences. Finally, you need great company to make you comfortable and indulge you in enjoyable conversation. Think back to your most memorable dining experience. What did you eat? What was the view like? And the company?

As bon vivants, we have had our fair share of memorable dining experiences. The most recent one took place last week on the 25th Floor of Conrad Miami when we joined the Conrad Miami team and fellow writers to sample Atrio Restaurant & Wine Room's new dinner menu. If you've ever been to the Conrad Miami, you know that their claim to killer views is indisputable. No matter where you are in the hotel you're surrounded by Miami's breathtaking beauty. During our visit, we confirmed they also offer delicious food and great company for the whole package.

Per our dining routine, we began our evening with cocktails at the bar. We were already fans of The Bar at Level 25 for networking happy hours thanks to the views and well-priced drinks. We are even bigger fans now that they are focusing on refreshing cocktails made with fresh ingredients. When you go, try the Watermelon Mojito - trust.

We continued our culinary adventure in Atrio's wine room where we sampled the first page of the menu (read, appetizers, soups, and salads). We're still reeling over Chef Brandel's beef tenderloin carpaccio, the goat cheese croquette salad, and the curried crab stuffed avocado. Everyone else was partial to his unique twist on a coconut-based ceviche with bay scallop, rock shrimp, red snapper and yuzu. Whatever your taste, each dish is delicious is in its own right.

For the second page of the menu, we moved to Atrio's private dining room. We opted for the pan seared scallops because we were intrigued by the concept of broccolini couscous and we never say no to gnocchi. We loved it but admit to experiencing temporary meal envy when we saw the herb marinated grouper and the grilled Florida snapper arrive on our dinner companion's plates. Speaking of our dinner companions, we owe a lot of our positive experience to them. Throughout the night the group shared a fantastic chemistry and excellent conversation which, coupled with Conrad Miami's renown hospitality, made for some of the best dinner company we've had in a while.

In case it is still not clear, two thumbs way up to Atrio and their new dinner menu. They've officially made it into our night out Miami rotation. So, check out some of the photos from our visit to see why you too should grab your favorite people for dinner at Atrio! P.S. Until Monday, July 20 you can snag a 3-course meal for two with bubbles at Atrio for just $75 on Gilt City.

For our entrée we ordered the pan seared scallops which were deliciously tender.

Some of our dinner companions ordered the grilled Florida snapper which comes with a carrot ginger purée, asian pear, red onion relish, and sweet plantain mofongo. Photo courtesy of Conrad Miami.
