#ThankYouMiami How-To: Giving Back on Give Miami Day 2015

Rejoice, South Florida! Give Miami Day is upon us in less than 24 hours. The annual one-day event, which is the brainchild of The Miami Foundation, lets us rub our pennies together as a community to make mucha mula for local non-profits. This means tomorrow you will have the opportunity to donate within your budget and make a sizable financial impact on the causes you support. This means tomorrow you will have the opportunity to get involved in and make a difference in your community from the comfort of your own couch. This means tomorrow you can bring bonus money from The Miami Foundation, Knight Foundation, and their partners to our community by donating as little as $25.

Last year Give Miami Day made history by raising $5.2 million for 520 local non-profits from more than 19,000 donors. From tomorrow 12 a.m. EST through Friday 12 a.m. EST, it is up to us to break our own record by giving more and to more causes. There are more than 500 organizations vying for our support.
